Common Fixes

  • Air conditioner compressor struggling to start
  • Low voltage or brownout conditions
  • Compressor humming but not engaging
  • Frequent breaker trips during startup
  • Hard starting in high‑temperature or high‑pressure conditions

️ Installation Instructions

  • Disconnect power before servicing the unit
  • Locate the existing run capacitor in the electrical compartment
  • Connect the two wires from the PSA6 in parallel with the run capacitor (one wire to each side)
  • Do NOT remove any existing wires from the run capacitor
  • If all terminals are in use, attach using the included “piggy‑back” terminal
  • Secure wiring and restore power to test compressor startup

This hard start kit provides a powerful boost for compressors under heavy load, restoring reliable startup performance in PSC air conditioning systems.
