No one likes the thought of replacing components that failed after 3 or 4 years, especially with one that is of the same design. But when I convinced myself that this is the part I needed, and I found Seneca River Trading, it was 2 days after I confirmed the order that this pump was in the dishwasher and working like the dishwasher was brand new! Very easy to install with the video! I didn't use the crimp type hose clamp, because I didn't have the tool, but I did have a hose clamp. Two other recommendations. 1.) before you pull the washer out, disconnect the black plastic water tube at the outlet of the dishwasher supply valve (solenoid). Turn the manual water supply valve under your sink to barely open. Start a load in the dishwasher. If the water trickles out of the solenoid valve it's good. The other thing to check after you pull the dishwasher out is the other end of that black plastic hose to the gray plastic filling connection on the lower left side under the insulation. My insulation was damp and the side of the cabinet was water damaged a bit. I disconnected the hose, put some silicone caulk and smeared it around the connection, then put the hose on. Wait for the silicone to set before the water flows thru it. No more leaks! I would strongly recommend Seneca River Trading!
